Welcome

Welcome to the all-new EZ Polocrosse website. It’s been a while in the making, but we’re glad to be back. Please bear with us through the teething process.

We’ve divided everything into three basic categories – playing, umpiring and coaching. Skip below for an explanation of what’s included in each. There’s also a few articles for people new to polocrosse called “The Basics,” as well as a few more things under Other Stuff, including the current schedule and a list of clubs in the United States.

Playing

This section has all the information about playing the game – explanations of all the skills, tactics, positioning and various other pieces of information about playing the game. It should contain everything you have to do while you’re on the field.

Coaching

The coaching section contains information about how to coach from the perspective of someone who may or may not play. It includes lots of information about exercises to improve players skills, and advanced tactics. It also has a lot of information about the administrative side of the game, including organizing practices, clinics and tournaments.

Umpiring

This section is all about officiating the game. Most players have to umpire and it’s important to have an umpire at practice, so learn how to do it right. This section goes over the rules, umpire signals, positioning, dealing with players and other umpiring skills.

Other Stuff

Other stuff includes all the things that don’t fit elsewhere – this is where we keep the list of clubs and the schedule. It also includes all the – surprise – other stuff we couldn’t find a place for!

Between these four sections we can cover most things. Many subjects overlap both areas, so they’ll appear in both sections. If you’re looking for something specific, there is a search function up top to help you out.

If you’d like us to cover a subject, contact us via the contact page. We also have a list of clubs the schedule for 2012 posted.
